Update (12/3/20): The permanent closures of the North Cannon and South Cannon garages, as well as the opening of the Wexner Medical Center Garage, have been postponed. New dates reflect below.
In anticipation of the opening of the new Wexner Medical Center Garage, North Cannon and South Cannon garages will permanently close.
South Cannon Garage
Entrances will now close at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, and all vehicles parked in the garage must exit by noon Saturday, Dec. 19.
North Cannon Garage
Entrances will now close at 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, and all vehicles parked in the garage must exit by 8 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22.
Alternative Parking
Permit holders in need of alternative parking may browse alternative parking locations either by utilizing SureParc on our homepage, or by logging in to their account and selecting their permit using our Permit Comparison Tool.
Wexner Medical Center Garage
The new, 1,887-space garage will now open to the public starting at 4 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21. Peak-hour* access will be available to patients and visitors, Central Campus accessible permit holders, and emergency physicians. Permit holders with off-peak* garage access may access the garage during off-peak hours.
A limited number of spaces in the Wexner Medical Center Garage have been reserved for contractors working on the new hospital.
During construction of the new hospital, access to Wexner Medical Garage will be available via detour. Please follow posted signage to follow the detour route.
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is committed to improving parking access for faculty, staff, patients and visitors — both in the short- and long-term. As a patient-focused environment, the priority is to provide proximate parking for patients and visitors.
A new six-story, $33.3 million faculty and staff garage is slated to open just south of the Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital in June 2022 and will provide approximately 1,100 additional parking spaces.
*Peak hours are 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Off-peak hours are 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. weekdays and all day weekends.
