Medical Center New Employee Orientation Week Guide

The following information is for new employees of the medical center who are attending Central Orientation.

You should receive a welcome email from CampusParc the weekend prior to your Wexner Medical Center orientation. If you do not see this email in your inbox, make sure you check in your spam folder! Once you have located the email, please reply with the following information:

  • Name
  • License plate number
  • State of issuance
  • Make and model of vehicle

Where should I park for orientation? 

While orientation may be conducted virtually on the first day, you still may need to park on campus. Please find the recommended parking locations depending on where you'll be.

Main hospital (Doan, Rhodes, Ross, Dodd, James, Harding): Park in unrestricted* surface lot spaces in the Carmack Lots (C1-C5) and take the Med Center Express shuttle to campus.

Ackerman Complex or Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute:  Park in unrestricted* surface lot spaces at the Ackerman Complex or in the Buckeye Lot.

Elsewhere: Please see the campus parking map or use SureParc to park in any unrestricted* surface lot space.

*Includes A, B, C and CX (red, orange, green and purple on corresponding maps) surface lot spaces on Central and West Campus. ADA accessible parking spaces require a valid state-issued disability placard. Hourly spaces require payment of hourly fees. Reserved spaces are not available.

Scenario 1: If you start and end your day at the main hospital (Doan, Rhodes, Ross, Dodd, James, Harding), park in the unrestricted* spaces in the Carmack Lots (1-5) and take the Med Center Express Shuttle to campus.

Scenario 2: If you start your day at the main hospital (Doan, Rhodes, Ross, Dodd, James, Harding) and end your day at the Ackerman Complex, park in the unrestricted* spaces in the Ackerman Complex and catch the 7:00 a.m. Ackerman Shuttle to the medical center. Then, take the shuttle back to Ackerman for your afternoon session and your car will be there when you finish.

Scenario 3: If you start and end your day at the Ackerman Complex through the entire first week, park in the unrestricted* spaces in the Ackerman Complex.
