The next phase of the Cannon Drive Relocation - Phase 2 project, which will add a 500-year flood protection for Ohio State’s Columbus campus –will have new impacts in the Ohio Stadium area beginning in July.
Parking Lot Access and Pedestrian Bridge
From July 1 through mid-August, West Stadium parking lot access will be available only from the south via Cannon Drive. The Sisson Hall pedestrian bridge will be closed July 1 to July 31. Pedestrians will be redirected to Woody Hayes Drive and John Herrick Drive to access areas east of Olentangy River.
West Stadium Lot Closure
From July 8 through July 22, the West Stadium parking lot will be closed. Alternative surface lot parking options include:
- Riverbank Lots - These lots are a quick 5–7-minute walk from the West Stadium Lot, and there is a nearby access point to the walking bridge.
- St. John Arena Lots
