As the ramp-up for the new academic year begins, please allow extra time for travel and parking as students, faculty, and staff return to campus for the autumn semester. With that, we want to share a handful of upcoming items to be mindful of.
Important Dates and Reminders
- Student Move-In takes place from August 14 through August 17

- During Student Move-In, 11th Avenue traffic will be redirected to one-way westbound traffic

- Please prepare for increased vehicular and pedestrian traffic
- The First Day of the Autumn Semester is August 20
- West Stadium Lot Reopening: The West Stadium Lot will reopen on August 20

- Access to the parking lot will be accessible from the south at the new Cannon Drive, and from Woody Hayes Drive at the old Cannon intersection; please be mindful that construction in the area will continue throughout autumn semester
- First home Ohio State Football game: Saturday, August 31
License Plate Policy
Effective July 1, 2020, Ohio law no longer requires the display of a front license plate. License plates serve as parking permits on Ohio State’s campus, ensuring that parking is used only by customers with a valid permit or hourly parking. CampusParc requires that all vehicles park on campus with their license plate visible from the drive aisle adjacent to the vehicle. Learn more about the license plate policy on our website.
Manage Your License Plates
Since parking for annual and monthly permit holders is monitored solely via license plate readers, your license plate must be linked to your permit to park a vehicle on campus and avoid a possible citation. To update the vehicles linked to your permit, log in to My Account and click "Manage License Plates."
New This Year
The CampusParc Customer Care office in the Gateway has moved to a cashless operation. Accepted payment methods include credit, debit, Google Pay, Apple Pay, checks, and money orders.
