Parking permits for the 2025-26 academic year are now on sale to students

Student parking permits for the 2025–26 academic year are now available for purchase. To secure a permit, log into your parking account and select “Buy or Renew a Permit.”
Do I need a permit?
All 2024–25 permits will expire at 11:59 p.m. on July 31, 2025. Permits do not automatically renew, so students must purchase a new permit to park on campus beginning August 1.
If you’re a graduate student with a paid appointment and interested in payroll deduction, note that eligibility is not automatic. Your department may email verification of your appointment to osuinfo@campusparc.com to initiate that process.
Waitlists
Select student garage permits in high-demand areas will be awarded via waitlist. Eligible students may join a waitlist for the permit they would like to purchase via their parking account. Please view our permit waitlist page for more information.
Keep your keycard
If you held a permit last year, your keycard will continue to work—there’s no need to request a new one. New permit holders will receive a keycard by mail if their permit requires it. QR codes for garage access are also available through your parking account and the Ohio State app, new codes should appear the next business day. When scanning the QR code from your phone, please make sure the phone brightness is turned up all the way.
License plate policy
As a reminder, vehicles must be parked with the license plate visible from the drive lane, and your license plate must be correctly linked to your permit to avoid citations. You can manage this information through the “Manage License Plates” section of your parking account. Please view our license plate policy page for more information.
