CampusParc is excited to share that the university has approved a pilot program for Permit Year 25-26, where a limited number of annual 11th Avenue Garage Permits (AG3) will be offered to employees who are currently eligible for the general A-Permit.
To ensure a guaranteed parking space in a central location, this pilot permit will grant access only to the 11th Avenue Garage during peak hours (5 a.m. – 4 p.m.). It will retain access to any A, B or C surface lot parking space and off-peak (4 p.m. – 3 a.m.) garage access campus-wide, excluding designated 24/7 patient and visitor garages.
The pilot details:
- University employees who are A-Permit eligible and interested in participating will be able to opt into this new permit pilot from our waitlist offerings on our website beginning Monday, June 16.
- Permits will be allocated based on a lottery system, similar to our Upgrade Downgrade Program.
- Customers will have access to the waitlist from Monday, June 16, through Wednesday, July 16.
- Notification letters will be sent out by Monday, July 21, before the new permit year, which begins on August 1.
- Those who are not selected can continue to purchase the annual A-Permit.
- To evaluate the success of the pilot, we will ask customers who sign up for the pilot permit to complete two brief surveys, assessing their preference between the certainty of finding a space and the convenience of a hunting license. One will be administered before the start of the new permit year, and the second in early November.
