Information Regarding Your Access Keycard and QR Code

Following the start of the new permit year on Monday, Aug. 1, we would like to remind you of the following regarding your current permit's access keycard and it's QR code.

In a sustainability effort, keycard use carries over from year to year, meaning permit holders who held an annual permit at any point since the 2019-20 permit year no longer receive a new physical keycard annually. Access keycards distributed after Aug. 1, 2019, remain valid for active permit holders during the 2023-24 permit year, which started Aug. 1.

Your keycard's QR code is also available online! To access your digital QR code, simply log in to your parking account at If your permit grants it, you may scan your digital QR code directly from your smartphone for event and garage access. Scanning tip: If you struggle with successfully scanning your QR code from your phone, turn the brightness up and try again.

If the QR code on your access keycard is faded, you have not received a keycard, or you are in otherwise need of a replacement, you are welcome to request a new one.
