Individuals with reduced mobility are eligible to purchase an ADA Accessible parking permit. All faculty, staff, and students who wish to utilize accessible parking spaces are required to purchase a CampusParc ADA Accessible permit rather than using the state placard and a standard permit; this identifies where accessible parking spaces are needed, regulates the use of such spaces to ensure they are available for those who need them, and discourages abuse. Permanent Accessible Parking
Those with permanent disabilities must submit their state-issued disability placard registration to CampusParc in order to purchase or exchange to an annual ADA accessible permit.
Note: Annual ADA accessible permits grant access to all garages (except SAFEAUTO Garage) and the disability and unrestricted* spaces within them. Any applicable time restrictions are outlined below.
The Central Campus “D” permit grants access to all Central, Buckeye, and West Campus disability, unrestricted,* and non-metered spaces, as well as garages.
This permit is available at the same rate as the A (for faculty/A&P employees), B (for staff/CCS employees) or the C (for students).
The Buckeye Lot “CXD” permit grants peak-hour access to Buckeye Lot and West Campus surface lot disability, unrestricted,* and non-metered spaces. Off-peak access is granted in garages and Central Campus surface lot disability, unrestricted,* and non-metered spaces.
This permit is available at the same rate as the CXS (for faculty and staff) or CXC (for students).
The West Campus “WD” permit grants peak-hour access to West Campus surface lot disability, unrestricted,* and non-metered spaces. Off-peak access is granted in garages and Central Campus surface lot disability, unrestricted,* and non-metered spaces.
This permit is available at the same rate as the WA (for faculty/A&P employees), WB (for staff/CCS employees) or WC (for students).
*Unrestricted spaces include Central Campus A, B, C, and CX surface lot spaces, as well as West Campus WA, WB, WC, and WC5 surface lot spaces.
Temporary Accessible Parking
Customers requiring an accessible parking permit for 30 days or less may have a doctor fill out the CampusParc Temporary Accessible Parking Request Form or provide their state-issued temporary disability placard registration and provide it to CampusParc. Unfortunately, prescription notes cannot be used as documentation for a temporary disability.
CampusParc will issue a temporary ADA accessible permit for up to 30 days only without a valid state-issued temporary accessible placard. Customers requiring accessible parking for more than 30 days must obtain a state-issued temporary disability placard. Once this placard is received, a copy of the registration must be provided.
This permit grants access to accessible spaces within areas already accessible with an existing annual permit.
Please note: Undergraduate students with an annual permit who provide their temporary state-issued disability placard registration or a completed Temporary Accessible Parking Request Form will be granted access to West Campus and Buckeye Lot disability spaces. Transportation and Traffic Management’s Paratransit service is available for transportation to and from these areas. Permanent disability placard registration is required in order to grant Central Campus access to undergraduates.
